However, you overlook the fact that your scalp is nothing but also a part of the skin.

In fact, your scalp needs way more nourishment as compared to the rest of the skin. The reason behind this is that it has an additional job to feed your hair roots.

Since you don’t properly care and oil massage your hair, your scalp gets dry and flaky, causing dandruff.

Home Remedy To Getting Rid Of Dandruff And Hair Fall

Today, I’m going to share a great recipe to get easily rid of dandruff and dry hair at home. No costly hair treat and scalp treatment.

In fact, this recipe will not only avoid dandruff but also promote natural hair growth if practiced weekly. So, let’s get started.

Here is the list of key ingredients that we need:

  1. Vitamin E capsules
  2. Homemade yogurt
  3. Glycerine
  4. Castor Oil
  5. Fenugreek (Methi) seeds
  6. One egg or honey

Try These Simple Ingredients

You must be wondering why these ingredients when we have certain well-known so-called working methods to practice. I would say, these are not only easily available at your home but also pretty simple to get started with. So, there you go.

1. Vitamin E Capsules

Vitamin E capsules are easily available in the market. You can purchase them from a nearby pharmaceutical shop or chemist. Don’t worry, you may choose any of the brands available to you.

Vitamin E significantly improves your hair quality and texture. It so affects your hair and makes it nourished and shiny. Besides, it hydrates your scalp and helps remove all dandruff.

2. Homemade Thick Yogurt

thick yogurt

You need one and a half cup of fresh, homemade thick yogurt. If your hair is short, you can take a smaller amount of yogurt.

Yogurt is a great, natural conditioner for your scalp. It is rich in vitamin E and antioxidants that collectively promote your hair health.

Not only does it thoroughly moisturize your scalp to make your hair visibly glossy, but also fights dandruff due to its antifungal property.

3. Regular Glycerine

Taken a regular, small bottle of glycerine that you can get at any pharmacy near your place. As Glycerine has property to pull moisture into your hair cuticle, it effectively locks it in proving the properties of a fabulous deep conditioner.

Glycerine also controls hair breakage.

Besides, it is non-toxic in nature and evidently has no side-effects on your hair. However, too much quantity of glycerine will make your hair greasy.

Make sure not to use more than 1 tablespoon of glycerine at one time.

4. Regular Castor Oil

castor oil

Castor oil has been one of the most underrated hair oils. It contains ricinoleic acid and Omega-6 essential fatty acids. By improving blood circulation to the scalp, it helps boost hair growth.

It also fights dandruff and reduces the odds of scalp infection.

Another key property of castor oil is to reduce split-ends while serving as a natural deep conditioner.

5. Fenugreek Seeds

It is also called Methi Dana in India. Fenugreek is known for its scalp-nourishing properties for amazing hair growth.

The lecithin component in fenugreek seeds helps naturally cure dandruff.

Fenugreek is also effective in hair fall control and hair strengthening. It contains nicotinic acid and essential proteins that increase hair growth.

6. One Egg

two eggs

Eggs contain essential proteins, vitamin A, vitamin D, vitamin E, and fatty acids and much more. In fact, eggs are the best protein-rich food for hair and make it soft and super shiny.

If you don’t prefer animal products except for the dairy, you can simply replace the egg with honey.

How To Prepare The Paste?

Soak around 2 tablespoons of fenugreek seeds overnight or for 8 to 10 hours. They will swell up and become around double in size, and then you can easily grind them.

Make sure not to add in too much of water, as you need to grind them in the same water only. Otherwise, the paste will be too runny and not be much effective.

#1. Take a small blender and add in the soaked fenugreek seeds along with the water and roughly grind the seeds.

Note: Make sure not to grind completely otherwise you wouldn’t be able to make a proper paste out of it.

#2. Drop this fenugreek paste into the yogurt bowl and give it a proper mix. Thick yogurt will help you create an ineffective paste.

#3. Whip the paste really good to avoid lumps in the paste. Add 1 tablespoon each of castor oil and glycerine and whip it well.

#4. Now, it’s time to add some key nourishing ingredient, i.e. vitamin e capsules. Add 3 to 5 capsules as per the length of your hair. Simply, cut the capsules in half or carefully slit them with a blade to extract the secretion out of them. Now, give it all a good mix.

#5. Finally, break an egg and add the only the egg white (transparent gel) into the mixture and then whip to mix all the ingredients properly.

Now, once the mask is ready, you need to give it a rest for 10 minutes so that fenugreek seeds swell and firm up. This will make the paste thicker and richer in nutrients.

How To Apply?

If your paste isn’t running, it’s easy to apply across your scalp.

  1. Firstly, brush your hair free of tangles.
  2. To apply the paste, you can use a hair pack brush or an old toothbrush as per your own convenience.
  3. Simply Dip the brush in the paste and apply it from the roots to length.

(Do apply the paste thoroughly, concentrating on your scalp.)

  1. Once properly applied to the scalp, tie your hair up and wear a shower cap if available.
  2. Now, leave it for a minimum of 2 hours.
  3. Later, you need to apply shampoo and conditioner as usual.

While washing off the paste, you will find fenugreek seeds difficult to remove from wet hair. However, once the hair is completely dried, they shed away easily.

Therefore, make sure you don’t shampoo hard in order to wash off the small chunks of fenugreek seeds.

Recommended: Apply this paste once a week for visible results. This process is also helpful in regrowing your lost hair.

Over To You!

So, how do you like the process we just discussed above? Don’t tell me now. First, try it and be patient to get the desired results.

And, let me also tell you that the results are visible too. You are going to love this home remedy to get rid of dandruff and hair fall, typically in winter.
